Research Grants

Dear Members of EPOS,

The EPOS Research Grant is given to a member of EPOS for a two year project covering expenses of up to 10.000 EUR per year. Any topic relevant to paediatric ophthalmology (except strabismus) or inherited eye disease will be acceptable, and there is no restriction as to the applicant´s age.

An application form is mandatory to apply for the EPOS Research Grant.

Please fill in the fields thoroughly and keep yourself to the limitations given in each field.
Submission closes on March 5, 2012.

Your application will be evaluated by members of the EPOS Board and specialists on your research topic from outside EPOS. You will be informed about the evaluation results prior to the annual meeting. You should be prepared to give a short presentation about your research to the general assembly of EPOS.

The Research Grant 2010 was awarded to Marija Moosajee from the Imperial College, London, UK for her research project: Non-viral gene therapy for Leber’s congenital amaurosis using a novel episomal S/MAR vector to generate persistent expression of RRPE65.
