Dear Members of EPOS,
The EPOS Research Grant is given to a member of EPOS for a two year project covering expenses of up to € 10.000 per year.
At the 11th General Assembly in Uppsala, it was decided that no Research Grant will be awarded in 2013. EPOS can only meet the expense of one grant at a time.
Awardees have been so far
- 2012 Jutta Schlegel from the Justig Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, for her research project: Intraocular analysis of treatment benefits in a mouse model for XLRP using focal ERG.
- 2010 Marija Moosajee from the Imperial College, London, UK for her research project: Non-viral gene therapy for Leberâ's congenital amaurosis using a novel episomal S/MAR vector to generate persistent expression of RRPE65.
- 2009 Knut Stieger from the Justig Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, for his research project : Evaluation of AVV mediated gene therapy for RPE65 patients by highly sensitive psychophysical techniques.
